Keynote speeches and seminars/workshops
for managers & teams

As the interface between the individual teams and management, managers are one of the most important pillars of the company. Good managers not only do good work, they are good role models, support and motivate their team and encourage each individual employee to further develop their skills.

"Be the change you wish to see in the world."
Mahatma Gandhi

Quit Quitting

Managers are increasingly overworked, lose motivation and meaning, or are poor role models due to the circumstances.

In surveys, employees often criticize leadership styles, communication and a lack of appreciation and these are often cited as reasons for resignation.

It is therefore a good decision for companies to strengthen managers not only in their required technical knowledge, but also in their soft skills.

Content as keynote speech, micro-training
or seminar or workshop can be booked.

Leadership – a culture of collaboration

Becoming or being a manager presents most people with challenges that they are not (yet) familiar with from their original position or role.
We provide prospective and current managers with an overview of the tasks of a manager, the different leadership styles that exist, the skills that are absolutely necessary for this and, above all, how to train them.

Leadership begins with self-leadership

Managers are not only responsible for the development of their team with its different individuals, they are first and foremost role models – what they set an example for defines the framework for the entire team.

Healthy self-leadership begins in the areas of self-management, mental health and communication, primarily with oneself. Listening empathetically, communicating transparently and acting in a committed manner are other important building blocks of healthy leadership.

Healthy leadership –
Positive Leadership

Modern working environments have changed – new work, digitalization and work intensification characterize our everyday working lives. It is not only important to optimize processes, but also to maintain and promote the mental health of employees.

Strengthening strengths, an appreciative feedback and error culture, and value-congruent actions are important building blocks for greater well-being and motivation for each individual.

Self-reflection for managers

Managers from existing teams are often promoted - not least because they have done a good job.

In the new position and thus a new role, it is therefore important to have a good sense of what standing you have in the team, what skills and talents you can use profitably, what and when you should delegate, which leadership style is authentic and which communication is goal-oriented and which is received by whom.

Neuroleadership – leading in a brain-friendly way

Every person is different - and that's a good thing. Nevertheless, there are clever and simple models that enable managers and their teams to recognize the individual needs, values and motives of the individual more quickly in order to act and communicate more precisely.

Facial expressions, gestures and language are valuable indicators and tools for motivating individuals more specifically and making teams more effective.

The resilient leader – strong through crises

Learning to understand yourself and others better, having suitable and effective tools for self-regulation and a full suitcase for building up resources at hand is a good basis for maintaining or regaining an overview and composure even under challenging conditions.

Resilient communication with oneself and others rounds off these skills to ensure that leaders are mentally well positioned before, during and after crises.

Resilient communication

Meeting yourself and others respectfully and as equals creates a space for cooperation and growth. How managers and teams create good frameworks, become good listeners, ask targeted questions, formulate carefully and thus create good connections are the content and foundations of resilient communication.

A culture of sharing transparent, complete and appreciative information is a good basis for motivation and effectiveness.

Team resilience

In order to calmly lead and motivate teams in challenging times of poly-crises and permanent change management, a common goal, mutual understanding and appreciation are required.
Team resilience therefore does not only focus on the individual level of resilience training, but also takes into account issues such as personality types, value systems and stressors in order to make processes and communication among each other more understandable and goal-oriented.

Better understand leadership in the space of values

An essential aspect by which people orient their thoughts, feelings and actions is their personal values.

Through individual imprinting, motifs and patterns emerge that can be given structure based on the four basic neurological motives of humans. Being aware of your own values and those of the individual in the team creates clearer and more targeted communication and smoother cooperation.

We also offer some of our lectures and trainings in English.

English is now the corporate language, especially in international corporations and universities, which is why we also offer a selection of our lectures and training courses in English.

Some of our trainers speak fluent English due to their many years of work in large companies and/or longer stays abroad.

Mastering employee interviews with confidence

Not only regular staff meetings, but also discussions about controversial topics such as feedback, absences or sick days are part of a manager's everyday life.

Being able to act empathetically, appreciatively and solution-oriented, even in critical situations, not only with your counterpart but also with yourself, is the basis for trusting and result-oriented communication.

Reading faces – recognizing emotions

Scientific studies prove that facial expressions are the most important and, above all, most reliable source of information about human emotions.

Our facial expressions give us clues as to whether the person we are talking to is feeling joy, fear, sadness or anger.

It is an important skill for managers, especially in the context of mental health, to correctly assess the emotional state of employees in order to increase motivation and avoid mental disorders.

Leading with meaning – clarifying overarching goals

In a society in which basic needs are met as a matter of course and the results of work often remain invisible to the creator, values such as meaning and self-efficacy play a central role.

Knowing and pursuing the overarching goal and being able to make a valuable contribution to society through one's own performance are currently more important than salary or promotion.

More information

Bullying

Bullying is more common than you think – an estimated one in ten adults has experience with chronic conflicts in their working lives.

However, this "war" in the workplace is not only unpleasant for the target person, it also damages the cooperation of the affected team, including the management. Motivation, performance and loyalty suffer, thereby damaging the entire company.

Learn how bullying is defined, how to recognize bullying in yourself and others, what consequences bullying can have and everything you can do.

Conducting absence discussions successfully

The reasons for absenteeism in companies can have very different backgrounds.
Whether someone is actually chronically ill, personal issues are relevant or a lack of loyalty is the reason - in each individual case it makes sense to seek a personal conversation and to work out solution-oriented options together.
Employees who feel seen and valued return to work more often and more quickly.

Conflict management for managers

Wherever people come together, friction arises. Different positions, perspectives, values or expectations can lead to conflicts.

In this context, it is important to be able to recognize initial dissonances more quickly, develop solutions and de-escalate effectively. The topic of bullying is also an important issue in this context that needs to be actively addressed.
