The training to become a "Mental Health Supporter" is a quick and compact way to introduce the topic of mental health to the world, either personally or in teams and groups.
This short training is particularly useful for employers who want to offer a central contact person for mental health on site in their company - this can be health managers, HR staff, works councils, executives or even interested employees.
A trained "Mental Health Supporter" is the contact person for all matters relating to mental health in a company, in a commercial context or in a private context.
With this basic training, a "Mental Health Supporter" is able to recognize when he or she and those around him are stressed or mentally unbalanced and has small strategies ready to regulate emotions and build up resources.
The training to become a "Mental Health Supporter" is a so-called "Blended learning concept", this means that you first work independently on digital content in our e-learning portal, so that all participants have the same basic information at the beginning of the live training in order to start the practical exercises.
In the live training, we will then practice the theoretical content together in small groups via Zoom and expand it with short exercises.
After the training, you will also receive additional material in the e-learning portal.
During the training, you will receive theoretical basics about definitions, content and goals of mental health, the stimulus-response cycle of people, the risk and protective factors model, the seven pillars of resilience as well as many additional quotes, worksheets and exercises.
After completing the training, you will be able to better recognize when you and others lose their mental balance, how to build up resources and thus start powerfully through change processes.
